Two multimedia and entertainment smartphones champions facee off
WELCOME TO THE N-SERIES KNOCKOUT!!
N85 vs. N96
In the right corner we have the N85 weighing in at 128 g
In the left corner we have the reigning champion, the N96 weighing in at an impressive 125 g
So lets get ready to RUMMMMMMBBBBBBBLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEE!!
These two really are fierce competition. While they share the majority of their some excellent multimedia and entertainment features, they are not quite the identical twins, and the choice between them is a tough one. There are a few strong points for each of them. The N96 has a larger screen and somehow still manages to be lighter, yet the N85 comes in a much smaller casing. I also like the AMOLED screen on the N85 which produces brighter and sharper images with less battery consumption.
They both have 16 million colors and excellent gaming capabilities, so there is no winner there. I am big on cameras so I am pleased that both the N85 and N96 come with Carl Zeiss optics and a 5 megapixel camera. Which means that there is no reason to carry a camera around with you or even own another camera; unless you are a professional photographer. They both have A-GPS and an impressive multimedia package. They have a few different video format options and the N96 has an embedded TV broadcast receiver, but besides that they are virtually the same, even offering the same Dual Slide format with multimedia keys, which is actually pretty awesome. They're even in the same price range.
As far as little goodies go, I really like the slide cover that protects the camera on the N85 but I have to say that I wouldn’t trade it for the flipstand that the N96 comes with. So where's the biggest difference? The big winner for me with the N96 is the 16 gigabytes of internal memory. While they both have microSD slots, I really like the idea of havinge 16 gigabytes come with my phone, that is definitely enough to cover my Metallica collection. The N96 also features a Dual ARM 9 264 MHz processor. On the other hand, The N85's strongest point is its low battery consumption, allowing for almost twice as much talk time before it needs to be recharged. If you're making good use on all those multimedia options or surf the web often like me, that's a big plus.
So, small sized phone, AMOLED screen technology, and long battery time (N85) vs. slightly larger screen, 16 GB of internal memory, and a flipstand (N96), is what it comes down to for a great multimedia and entertainment smartphone. And now they are on sale at pidiGO.com with FREE International Shipping, the N85 is only $359.99 and the N96 is marked down to an even more impressive $325.30, considering that this price is given in dollars and not euros it is an incredible bargain.. For that price I might just have to buy both!.
