Nokia is back with the New C6. This phone is not only great for messaging and social networking but also provides excellent voice communications, and the Symbian-based Nokia C6 smartphone has a large 3.2 inch screen. This allows for an excellent Internet viewing experience, and it also features a full suite of email and social networking capabilities. It is also a touchscreen, which is always nice, especially when it comes with a full slide out QWERTY keyboard. Lets just say that touchscreens have come a long way since they were first thought up in Star Trek. Personally I like the touchscreen best from the Next Generation, but this picture is epic.
Update your status, comment on your friends and family, or take pics with the 5 megapixel camera and share them on Facebook, MySpace, Flickr and Ovi Share. You also get live feeds from Facebook and Twitter, so if you are a social network addict you can save the time of having to load the page. And note that this 5 megapixel camera has excellent picture quality as well as an LED flash. Just about the perfect camera phone.
If you’re like me, then you you probably don’t stop to ask for directions either. Luckily for us the integrated GPS with free Ovi Maps Navigation for voice-guided directions let you save face and get where you’re going. And if you’re still lost, you can always resort to apps and games downloaded via the pre-loaded Ovi
Store. Or to the multimedia capabilities which are awesome, including live movie streaming that plays back virtually every movie and music format. The phone will even recommend your music for you and allows you to create music meta-data ID3 tags and album art. And if you still need entertainment, try using the Flash Lite v3.1.And maybe once in a while you’ll also want to take care of business. I like to use the push email. The easy messaging with home screen widgets makes setting up your email as easy as single digit arithmetic. The C6 even comes with support for several personal email services (like Gmail, Yahoo!, Hotmail, Ovi Mail and more) along with corporate email (Mail for Exchange). With all that connectivity, of course the C6 also comes with Wi-Fi networking, a full HTML Web browser with RSS feed support, and personal organizer tools. Oh, and you can also use it to make and receive calls, lol. It gives you 5 hours of 3G talk time (7 hours on standard GSM networks) and it’s got voice commands and dial – fully equipped for the Starship Enterprise. And you get to live the experience of the Nokia C6 Starship Enterprise style for only $433.77 including international shipping until October 24th, 2010.
